| Advices for you

Today, a day off, is the proper one to practice DIY, as well, the vacation time is the suitable to execute a home renovation. Art will help you to make a house even more beautiful. So with the two items mentioned above you can 'dress up' your home.

1. What do we need to do today's task?

A meter to measure in an accurate way, a good drill without surprises, a hammer, hooks and sockets to secure well and finally blocks.

2. Look at the picture

It's not a question of being hooked up by its beauty... although why not? We need to know the painting dimensions to correlate them with the wall. Unlike a lamp, which only needs one point on the ceiling to hang properly, a painting needs enough surface to hang horizontally with the right proportions in relation with the wall.

3. What is the correct height to place the painting?

The height of the painting must be one metre and seventy-five centimetres so that the viewer can see it at eye level and with enough perspective to enjoy it.

4. Start holding the painting: attention! This is the key step so that it does not fall

Put the sockets in - the heavier the painting the more you will have to put in - it is essential not to put the sockets in the frame or on top because the weight would make the painting fall. Always choose to put the sockets on the sides of the painting. Use the meter to measure the distance between the holes you will make with the drill. We insist, distance and proportions are very important so that the painting is not disproportionate.

5. Level the painting correctly

Drill in progress, measure the distance between holes and insert plugs and sockets which must be secured with the hammer.

6. Insert the plugs into the hook nails

Once the blocks are inserted into the holes with the hammer and the hook nails are screwed in. Finally place the sockets on the hook nails.

When the painting is hung, not only will you have enjoyed the DIY, but every day you will also be pleased thank to the paint which comforts the viewer: art makes life better for everyone.
