This content is special because today we interview Pere Acosta for his retirement.

First of all Pere I, Suso Grau, want to thank you for the years as working colleagues -from the end of 2015 until 2018- you always made an effort to teach me good habits such as:

- Being very rigorous with the publication dates of the blog articles.

- Re-reading the articles

- Diversifying content topics.

I know it was not always easy, but, we made a good team and, above all, with your training I am a better professional.

Thank you very much Suso, the pleasure has been mutual and thank you also for your patience.

1. What is your assessment of your professional career? What lessons have you learned from it?

Well, in general it has been a joy: not everyone can say that they work in what they like. I have been lucky. I thank life for having been able to enjoy and work. I've learned a lot of lessons, and I'm still learning new things.  To quote a very clear one: You have to take care of your clients, work for them, listen to them and interpret them.  We live from our clients and thanks to them.

2.    You have been working at Finques Feliu for many years. Although it is perhaps complicated to summarize it in a few words, what is your assessment of them?

Yes, almost a quarter of my working life has passed with Feliu: 10 years that have gone by very quickly -it seems a cliché but that's how I feel-. As I said before, for me I have been learning things almost every day and we could say that Finques Feliu has been a good school of continuous training these last ten years. The eagerness to improve, to do things better when they are already being done well, the eagerness to attend and serve the client have made us a very good team.

3. What was the real estate sector like when you started and what is it like now? What challenges do we have for the future?

It was an unprofessionalized sector, with a low training profile and very stagnant positions.  But this has changed a lot - fortunately.  However, there is still a lot of work to do to improve the perception and the valuation that the general public has of the real estate administrator or the real estate agent in our country.  The challenge: The incorporation of new generations, very well prepared, to let them do and to contribute experience. To combine the profession with the knowledge of a qualified formation.

4.    To finish, preparing the interview I remembered that among the many articles you encouraged me to write, there was one that when you explained it, it was clear that you like nature and cycling. In relation to leisure, what are your favorite hobbies and how do you think about retirement?

Although the bike has cost me two good scares that have made me park it in recent years, return to it with a lower profile, tourist-cultural is one of the challenges that I propose. Also Trekking: continue to enjoy routes through forests and trails. As a possible novelty to incorporate: I have a recurring curiosity that makes me want to try some musical instrument: although this I have to test how I feel after a few classes.

We wish you the best for the present and for the future!

And I to all the Feliu team and very especially to you to encourage you to continue in the line for the good work you do.
